Queer Product Watch

I'll never forget the day my old boyfriend HiroshiHomosausage2 brought some of these home. The wicked grin on his face told me he'd snagged something that was just his kind of mischief. Defying US Customs, we brought a few to NY when we moved back to store in the fridge just for laughs. It kept it's shape and size (ahem) for almost ten years before I chucked it in the last move. Without the aid of Viagra. Makes me wonder what it was really made of — probably the same synthetic materials found in those McDonald's shakes that never melt or lose their consistency even if left out in the sun.

Somewhere in my office I have an earlier version of this wonderful packaging — Queer Aid Chocolates — mine is in a metal box, familiar to those of us who grew up with J&J Band-Aids in a tin box. However, in this box there are individually wrapped chocolates in the shape of the aforementioned trademarked product. The photo above is how it is sold in China nowadays, though the company that makes it is Japanese. No surprise there, the Japanese excel at Queer Products. Keep your eyes posted, there are more to come. And if you have any I don't know about, please send them my way.
